And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in Heaven about the space of half an hour. And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to then were given seven trumpets."(Revelation 8:1-2)
When the seventh seal is opened, seven angels with seven trumpets will appear. "
Each time one of these angels blows his trumpet unspeakable misery falls upon the earth.
First Trumpet: Fiery hail falls to the earth one third of the earth and trees or burned and all of the grass. Revelation 8:7
Second Trumpet: a mountain of fire is thrown into the sea. One third of the sea turns into blood. One third of all sea creatures die. One third of all ships or destroyed. Relations 8:8-9
Third Trumpet: A flaming Star named wormwood pollutes one third of the Earth's rivers and springs. One third of the earth's fresh water is polluted, killing many people. Relations 8:10-11
Fourth Trumpet: One third of the sun, moon, and stars are darkened. A long part of the day is spent in darkness. Revelation 8:12-13
Fifth Trumpet: A darkened star strikes the earth and opens the bottomless pit. Terrible scorpion like locusts fill the earth and terrorize people for five months. Revelations 9:1-11
Sixth Trumpet: A violent war breaks out in the region of the Euphrates River. One third of the world's human population dies. Revelation 9:13-21
Seventh Trumpet: The final struggle between God and Satan takes place in heaven and then on earth. Satan, knowing his time is short, works feverishly to dispute God's plan and to disrupt God's people. Revelation 11:14 -- 14:20
