Seven Bowls

Seven bowls of God's wrath or poured out upon the earth.These occur after the seven seal judgments and the seven trumpet judgments. These bowls represent God's final pronouncements against the earth. The plagues that result will devastate the human race and prepare it for Jesus' arrival.

First Bowl: horrible Painful sores breakout when people have submitted to the beast (boils). These sores cause agonizing pain for the unrepentant. Revelation 16:2

Second Bowl: The sea turns into blood, and all aquatic life dies. When the sea dies, the fate of the world is set. Revelation 16:3

Third Bowl: The water in springs and rivers turn to blood. With the fresh water polluted, Life on Earth becomes very uncertain. Revelation 16:4

Fourth Bowl: The Sun is allowed to severely burn people. People remain rooted in their fierce rejection of, and hatred for God. Revelation 16:8

Fifth Bowl: Darkness covers the earth. Under the cover of darkness, unrepentant people continue to cry out against God. Revelation 16:10

Sixth Bowl: The great Euphrates river dries up. This disaster creates the pathway for the gathering of the armies of Armageddon. Revelation 16:12

Seventh Bowl: A devastating earthquake accompanied by Hale alter the surface of the earth. Great cities collapse and people hardened their hearts in their hatred for God. Revelation 16:17-21
